DP BOOK SELLERS does NOT collect, store, or view your debit/credit card numbers, CVVs, expiry dates, ATM PINs, bank account passwords, or UPI MPINs.
• Order & Communications History: Records of your orders, invoices, and any customer support conversations to help service you smoothly.
2Guest Orders vs. Signed-In Customer Order Privacy
At DP BOOK SELLERS, customers have two convenient options to shop and track their books:
• Guest Orders (Open Phone-Based Lookup):
Customers can place orders as a Guest without creating a permanent account or password. For guest purchases, anyone who enters the associated 10-digit mobile number or Order ID on our Track Order / Lookup page can view that specific order's delivery status, courier tracking ID, and tax invoice. This allows quick and friction-free tracking without remembering credentials, but order access is available to anyone with the customer's phone number.
• Signed-In / Registered Customers (Exclusive & Private Order History):
When you choose to Sign Up and create an account with your mobile number and secret 4-digit PIN:
- Your entire order history, past purchases, delivery addresses, and invoices are strictly private, secured, and tied exclusively to your authenticated account profile.
- Your order history can ONLY be seen and accessed by you after signing in with your registered phone number and 4-digit PIN. No other visitor or outside party can view or browse your order history.
- You can manage saved addresses, download invoices anytime, request eligible returns, and view real-time courier consignment updates directly from your private My Account dashboard.
3Account Security, 4-Digit PIN & Recovery Questions Privacy
When you create an account, you set a 4-digit Security PIN and select answers to 4 Security Questions (Favorite Category, Reading Time, Preferred Language, and Date of Birth).
• Your 4-digit PIN and security question answers are encrypted and kept strictly confidential.
• DP BOOK SELLERS will NEVER share, disclose, or sell your PIN or security question answers to any third party.
• These security answers are used exclusively as a zero-delay identity recovery safeguard. If you ever forget your 4-digit PIN, you can securely recover or reset it immediately by verifying your 4 answers without waiting for SMS OTPs or email reset links.
4Secure Payment Gateway & Accepted Payment Modes (UPI, Net Banking, Cards)
All online transactions on DP BOOK SELLERS are processed through trusted, RBI-regulated payment gateways (Razorpay) equipped with 256-bit bank-grade SSL encryption.
• Accepted Payment Methods:

- In case of network disconnection or payment timeouts where money is deducted from your bank but order confirmation fails, the deducted amount is automatically refunded to your original source account within 3 to 5 banking days.
